Small Groups
Are more than just Bible Study groups.  While Bible study is a part of what they do, they are also about bringing together to be able to share life and support each other.  It is a place to build friendships and find support to help us with what’s going on in our lives and find where God fits into that.  Groups meet in people’s homes on several nights of the week and have a range of styles of running.  Contact the church to find out more.

Activities
Once a month we have a social activity – car rallies, bowling, dinners, card nights, plus much much more. Jump on ‘Mitcham Young Adults’ on facebook to find out what’s happening next. 

Young marrieds
This is a group for those young couples just stepping out in life together. Each week there is a ‘small group’ that meets together to share the journey they are all going thorugh, and once a term a short intensive program runs that brings them together with several older couples for a time of teaching and mentoring. These older couples are available throughout the year to young marries couples to offer support, advice and wisdom gained through long and succesful relationships/partnerships.

All-ins
A variety of local and guest speakers talking about issues that face Christian (and all) young adults, in a cafe style setting at the church, once every school term.  Our small groups all come together on this night to have a chance to connect and see where we are all at.

Youth Camps
We run two youth camps every year – over the Queen’s Birthday weekend we participate in State Youth Games, a big event involving over 70 youth groups and 3000 young people from all over Victoria.  It is a weekend where the days are given over to having fun playing all kind of sports in Mini round-robins, and the nights are spent round campfires, at the Rally, and many other activities.  Later in the year we run a getaway camp with plenty of time to relax and spend time with friends.  Twice a year there are special weekends for Girls and Guys separate – The Boys have the camping trip and fishing trip, and the girls have a weekend in and a weekend retreat.

Wednesday night Coffee Nights
Every second Wednesday the girls get together for a coffee night. A chance to socialise and love some good coffees and desserts.   Check out the ‘Mitcham Girl’s nights’ facebook group for details about which one comes next.
