Mitcham Baptist Church

Mitcham Baptist Basketball Club is a long standing part of our church’s ministry. Our teams play in the Victorian Baptist Basketball competition.
The Victorian Baptist Basketball Association currently runs Men’s A, B, C, D, E and Womens competitions on a Monday night at Ringwood Basketball Stadium in Melbourne’s east.

The unique atmosphere sets the VBBA apart from other basketball associations where the spirit of the game is played in fairness and respect for other teams and players. The goal of the association is to provide opportunities to present Jesus through good sportsmanship, fun and relationships.

We play on a Monday night and depending on how many in the team the cost is $7 to $8 per night. The season registration is approx $20 per player.

We are always looking for more players and because we have teams from B to E grades – everyone is able to join in at their standard.
