If you’re looking for something fun for boys that delivers challenges and opportunities to grow and, at the same time, make good friends, then you should think about getting him involved in The Boys’ Brigade (or BB for short) – you’ll be surprised how quickly you will fit in and enjoy it. All boys are welcome!
BB meets weekly during the school term for one to three hours (depending on age), and is run by trained leaders who receive instruction in duty of care and have working with children check cards. The BB program is structured to appeal to and hold the attention of the boys, as well as teach them new skills in physical, educational, social and spiritual areas of life.
Boys in grades 1 & 2 can join Anchors, while boys in grade 3-6 can go to Juniors. Seniors is for those in years 7-12. The higher you go in BB the range of activities are broader, more adventurous, challenging and with greater rewards!
BB is an international organisation and has been running programs for boys in Australia for over 100 years.
The Boys’ Brigade meets weekly on Fridays during school terms at Mitcham Baptist Church.
